Meet Dr. Virginia Melmed
Tel Aviv dentist, Dr. Virginia Melmed, is UCLA trained and best known for her exceptional work in cosmetic dentistry and her gentle, pain-free care. She has an impeccable eye for aesthetics and is passionate about creating beautiful smiles that are a source of confidence for her patients.
Originally from Alabama, Dr. Virginia Melmed maintains dental practitioner licenses in California and Israel. She is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Israel Dental Association, the Anglo Dental Study Club in Jerusalem and a historical member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
She received her D.D.S. degree in 2004 from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry, where she was awarded the Dean's Scholarship for her academic and leadership excellence, and graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University in mathematics and chemistry.
Born with congenitally missing lateral incisors, Dr. Melmed has experienced first-hand the positive impact that dentistry can have on one's quality of life and became passionate about dental esthetics at a young age.

As a cosmetic dentist in Tel Aviv, Dr. Melmed is committed to staying current with the latest advances in dentistry and attends numerous continuing education courses, most recently at the Frank Spears Dental Institute in Arizona. She is a good communicator and puts patients to ease by explaining treatments to them in terms that they can understand.
